A good panorama of Front Beach, the Coromandel foothills and Whitianga harbour entrance to the right. You may just be able to make out the Front Beach holiday home. The beach on the upper right of the above image is Buffalo Beach which borders the Whitianga coastal township.
At certain times of the year, large shoals of Kahawai come into the bay, accompanied by diving Gannets and other sea birds hoping for a feed.
